John Hoyland—Power Stations The first publication in what was conceived as a series of books for exhibitions at Newport Street Gallery, London. The font used for the gallery identity is redrawn from London road sign lettering dating from the early 20th century. It is used freely and playfully on the covers as a major compositional element. The format, structure and materials were replicated on all subsequent catalogues to harness an identity for a varied program of exhibitions. Two versions of each book were produced, with installation images added to the second version. Published by Other Criteria.
